  • PRODUCT SERVICING

    XR General Hospital proudly stands with Boosted Board owners. All components sent in for service are subject to evaluation and accurate repair quotes will be adjusted and communicated to the customer before procedures begin.

    Repair fees are due upon completion. All completed repair cases that have not been paid after 90 days of notification to the customer are considered to be abandoned.

    Upon sending in hardware, the customer agrees that they are knowledgeable on battery maintenance and safety procedures. This includes but is not limited to: 

    • Proper storage of the battery at nominal voltage during periods of long term storing. 

    • Proper storage placement in a dry, temperature controller environment. 

    • Batteries with a built in BMS are recharged to 50% every two months. 

    • Removal of battery prior to cleaning the vehicle with water. 

    • Following all included procedures listed in informational guides sent with products. 

    • Maintaining battery life through proper charging procedures.

    MANUFACTURER RATINGS

    All ratings, including rated capacity, max pulse discharge current, and continuous max discharge current are determined by the manufacturer.

    XR General Hospital does not certify or otherwise guarantee the validity of these ratings or the suitability of these batteries for any particular application.

    Purchaser agrees that responsibility for verifying ratings and validity of battery for any application lies solely with the purchaser, and that choosing the wrong lithium ion battery can result in severe personal injury or even death. Purchaser agrees that XR General Hospital accepts no responsibility should battery prove unsuitable, unsafe, or otherwise unfit for their use. If battery is purchased for resale, purchaser agrees to forward all warnings to buyer, and assume responsibility for such.

  • WARRANTY AND SERVICE

    Every battery comes with a 12 month Manufacturers Warranty. Manufacturing defects are serviced free of charge for up to one year from the date of delivery. Issues deemed to not be at the fault of the manufacturer can still be serviced but there may be additional fees applied. We will accept a product for service for up to two years from the date of delivery. Customers will pay shipping on service for products unless otherwise specified by an XR General Hospital agent. Customers outside of the contiguous United States will pay for shipping regardless of time since receiving product. Service cannot be guaranteed for customers outside of the contiguous United States.

    BATTERY WARNING

    WARNING: LITHIUM ION BATTERIES MAY EXPLODE OR BURN DUE TO IMPROPER USE. USING THESE BATTERIES FOR PURPOSES NOT INTENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER MAY CAUSE SEVERE INJURY AND DAMAGE.

    YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO PURCHASE

    All rechargeable batteries have inherent risks under any circumstance. Use caution when working with Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer) and any rechargeable cells (together "Rechargeable Batteries"), as they have dangerous charging characteristics and are known to explode or burn if mishandled. A purchaser and user of Rechargeable Batteries should educate themselves on Rechargeable Batteries, especially as to charging, discharging, assembly and storage. We are not responsible for any damage caused by misuse or mishandling of Rechargeable Batteries. You shall indemnify and hold XR General Hospital, its directors, officers, partners, contractors, licensors, employees, and agents harmless from and against all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, relating directly or indirectly to the products purchased.

    Here are a few tips:

    • Always charge these batteries on and within fire-proof material.

    • Never leave Rechargeable Batteries in a recharging station unattended.

    • Do not use any Rechargeable Battery or charger if any visible damage is present, or if known mishandling, accidental or otherwise, has occurred.

    • Always store and transport rechargeable cells in a safe, non-conductive container.

    • Properly dispose of all battery cells and chargers in accordance to local laws and mandates (if you're unsure, call your local municipality).

    • If a Rechargeable Battery overheats, hisses, or bulges, immediately quarantine the battery from any combustible materials. Ideally, take the battery outside.

    • If a Rechargeable Battery catches fire, the FAA recommends pouring water or soda on the battery and surrounding areas. Ideally, use a foam extinguisher to quell the fire.

  • WARRANTY AND SERVICE

    Every BERT V1 comes the following guarantee: If BERT V1 is unable to successfully reset at least one (1) Boosted B2XR (XR) battery, then the customer is entitled for a refund of the original MSRP. Shipping fees will not be refunded.

    BERT V1 Manufacturing defects are serviced free of charge for up to one year from the date of delivery. Issues deemed to not be at the fault of the manufacturer can still be serviced but there may be additional fees applied. We will accept a product for service for up to two years from the date of delivery. Customers will pay shipping on service for products unless otherwise specified by an XR General Hospital agent. Customers outside of the contiguous United States will pay for shipping regardless of time since receiving product.
